But, seriously, I needed to see this. My spirits haven’t been the greatest lately and to see such a well-earned victory come to fruition makes me feel as if I’m gonna make it. One of the better moments tonight was when Mark Texeira said how he just kept praying and praying and God didn’t let him down.

27 of them thangs, mane! I came to work @ 4:30 this morning talkin’ shit. I got a list of f**k you’s like I’m bout to quit my job. It’s been a great season. Now we have a title to defend next season. Let’s get ‘em again!
